Before your pet has surgery, please
follow these instructions carefully:
1. Your pet should not have ANY food or treats after
midnight on the night before surgery. However, pets should
*always* have access to water.
2. Please be on time for check-in at 8:30am at the
designated location. All dogs must be on a leash (make sure the collar is snug), and all
cats must be in a carrier (the carrier needs to be clean with newspaper or towel inside). Separate carriers are recommended
for multiple cats. Please label the cats name and your last name on top of your carriers. Feral (wild) cats must be in a humane trap, not a carrier.
3. Payment is due at drop-off. We accept cash only.
4. If your pet is current on its Rabies vaccine, you must bring
written proof from your veterinarian. Otherwise, we are
required by law to re-vaccinate. Rabies tags are not
adequate for proof.
5. When you drop off your pet, we will notify you of
the pick-up time. This will vary depending on the number of appointments that day. Please be on time for pick up, we will not call to remind you.
6. If you are unable to keep your scheduled
appointment, please give at least 72 hours notice so that your
slot can be given to another animal on the waiting list. Last minute cancellations and patients who do not show up for a scheduled appointment will only be offered standby in the future.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation! |
